Very nice!  The attacking can turn into a little bit of a button masher but that's not necessarily a problem with this kind of hack-and-slash game.  It probably just feels more haphazard because the wall placement is intentionally sporadic...  I feel like I need a level of control/mastery in there somewhere?  But maybe you could explore that in an area other than the combat instead! (could you purchase wall upgrades eg turrets or flaming walls that damage the enemies?
