i immediately exited the game at level 4 because of how scary and nightmare-ish the sounds were.

I enjoyed the blind maze-esque feeling of it... its just... scary XD

Thanks!  :D

This is a really technical project! It even includes an FPS counter.

Developer

Haha, thanks!  The technical parts of it were the most fun for me - stuff like Unity does a lot of really cool stuff out of the box, but rolling everything by hand is always fun to try.

Really like it !! Also you using a homemade C++ engine for such a small game jam is very impressive.

Thanks :)

Really like what you did with the lighting. Movement was a bit slow for my taste (would have loved like a run button, or even for movement to be quick snap to tile like. But i did finish the first floor. Really good game!

Thanks :)

Yeah, running or the like is a good idea.  I just wish I would've had a bit more time - I might try to add that in later.

I'm not a fan of mazes but I wandered more than 10 minutes !

Developer

Thanks!  Appreciate you checking it out, for sure.  Also glad to hear it ran okay - that's always a worry for an executable like this.
