Description
I made 2 tracks based on the theme "runaway" and the picture theme.
On the first track I thought about a kingdom in war. And someone escaping from that fate. I imagined a persecution, that's why I thought about a bar signature like 5/8, the percussion, the brass.
On the second track I was thinking in a peaceful kingdom, with a bar signature of 3/4 like a Waltz... But are we safe here? Even if war still exists out there, in this Kingdom the peace is almost a guarantee. A sound more peaceful, a piano, a clarinet, an harp, glockenspiel, flutes, etc. Then we found a "Conflict section" which remined us about the war, with french horns, having a 5 notes on 3/4 bar signature, being reminiscent of the 5/8 from the first track. But at the end, the peace always wins.
I used Cubase as my DAW ❤️

Theme:

Runaway
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
The music tells a story about someone trying to "escape" the fate of war in a Kingdom. Then goes to another kingdom seeking for peace and a new home.
The first track is in 5/8 and constant percussion trying to sound like a persecution. And the second track is in 3/4 like a Waltz.

Like the time signatures. Favorite was A New Beginning, so pretty, plus loved the harp!

Libraries sound great! My favorite track is Runaway From the Kingdom

Love the percussion in Runaway from the Kingdom. Definitely conveys a sense of urgency.

Most of a new beginning sounds very optimistic. I quite like the addition of church bells. I think it grounds the song in what seems to be a town. A fantastic little detail. I also like the small interludes into something very stern and serious.

Awesome work! I think both tracks were really good at storytelling and placing you in the middle of a scene.

Nice entry! Feels like "Runaway from the Kingdom" was going somewhere very interesting and would have loved to hear more!

Really accomplished sounds in these tracks. The drums in 'Runaway From The Kingdom' are great - they have a solid resonance that really boosts the music - and the fresh-faced whimsy within 'A New Beginning' is great too. Top effort.

Epic percussion in Runaway from the Kingdom. Major Hans Zimmer vibes.

I also like the very different mood in a new beginning, and the short section where the war rears its ugly head again. Very well done!

What sample libraries did you use for this? I'm trying to find some good ones.

Thank you for your kind comment!

Send me a DM, tomorrow I'll check the project and tell you exactly which libraries I used!

I liked both tracks. The first one really felt like a persecution, good instrumentals, and the second one felt like you were telling a story. Good job my friend!

Sigue adelante!
