Neat game, and great presentation! I really liked the little inventory pop-up, and the way the backpack animates.  I actually didn't mind the long process to attack - it felt like I had to rummage around in my backpack and prepare for battle, and then carefully strike with my limited resources.

I gotta say though, it was very frustrating to lose a level because of bad dice rolls. I'm curious about the option to throw away dice - was there ever any point where that's useful? Also, as much as I like using the little inventory menu I feel like having to manually grab the dice out of the chest is a bit too far, unless there was a reason that you might want to leave dice in there that I missed out on.

Great work overall though, very well polished!

Haha... In this version of the game, throwing away dice is absolutely useless! My original concept for the game contained larger levels with multiple chests, so when your inventory got full you would have to throw out or swap dice. (Almost like Animal Crossing)

Ah, so did you originally plan to have different kinds of dice with different abilities? So you would have to choose which dice to keep?

Yeah, my original concept was something like that. I had to scale down the idea a little to finish in 48 hours, though... I think that was one of the only "features" that I didn't get to implement in time though...
