I had a lot of fun playing this, and got a bit sad when it ended so suddenly!

Adding dice was a brilliant move as I feel many games can feel frustrating due to too much RNG. This mechanic meant it remained chance dependent and thematic, but still tactical, which is hard to pull off. Levels were engaging and had a good risk/reward balance and the music and art were the cherry on top.

For a Game Jam game, I don't have any complaints! But if you were to continue developing past this I wonder whether the limited rolls could be tweaked - losing to RNG is always tough even when you can reset super smoothly. Perhaps there could be stars, 3 stars for under X roles, 2 for under Y, and 1 for just finishing?

I have considered a par system like you are thinking about (but the stars would be a cool twist on that, I was just thinking of a score, but stars are way better haha).
