Interesting... I think this could be a really cool and difficult puzzle game if you made the moves/rolls were predetermined and you could see them. I realize that's kind of against the theme of the jam, but still... at the moment it still feels a bit like a gambling game to me. I'd also suggest that if you use the mouse to select the direction, also use it to confirm it, just like in a shooter you wouldn't aim with the mouse and then shoot with the spacebar; you'd shoot with the left mouse button.
