Neat idea! I'll echo amerond's thoughts, but I think they'd agree it's very cool that this was your first jam, and it's also very cool that you were able to FINISH the jam, something that is always easier said than done, even when you've done more than one ;)
The platforming felt solid and the game functioned as it should. Keep it up!
