Sorry to hear, be sure to let the JoPlay devs know.From what we've seen en masse, the most recent JoiPlay versions are stable and if you follow the steps you'll have no issues.There are still rare exceptions though.
Latest versions of JoiPlay still do not work properly. Emulator itself is ok, but Renpy plugin is totaly baged for most users.
But, ofcourse, this can be solved easely - just by installing older version.
