This resonated with me on so many levels and i love it to bits and you for penning it! The "choose your own adventure" analogy is so dead on for NB. Tale reminds me of some life changing words a few friends had for my still-confused ass: euphoria is just as valid a reason as dysphoria. Even if you don't hate what you have, if trying somethibg else feels SO RIGHT and good, then right on.

Aww oh my gosh, thank you!! That is the exact kind of feeling I wanted to convey, too. A lot of my own trans journey had bits of both but definitely was very gender euphoria "this is so much more comfortable"-centric. Thank you for letting me know that you liked it, that really means a ton! This made me so happy to read! :)

The only (near) person in my life that knows I am... enby? fluid? working it out? is my sister. It's killing me and has for ages before even that I can't dress more femme (and pride month so SO many great clothes I could be getting D: ) other family might not be so cool. But yeah it's little gems like this tale of yours that really help lift me up, affirm and validate my feelings. It means the world. so thank YOU. 😊

That honestly means the world to me to hear-- it's a total honor to be able to help in that kind of way :) Thank you so so much for commenting and telling me all of this. I hope you get to dress in all those great clothes soon!

Thank you so much for that quote from your friends, this game was already making me tear up and that just absolutely hit home so hard  🥲 Also, the line in the game about "appropriating transness" was very relatable. Thank you so much for making this little story :)

Mhmm! If you feel like you're happiest, BEST you when you're embracing a new/different side of things, you gotta explore it cause maybe you just stumbled into... yourself? 🧀 cheesey I know but valid!

Oh my gosh, that was lifted almost directly from something I found while looking through old stuff I'd written while going through my "realizing I'm trans" process! I think it's a way more common feeling than I felt like it was at the time.
