Well, most people did not understand the gesture, but I guess, nowadays you should make everything direct, because, no offence, people are having hard trouble understanding things. When you are reading, "That's sus...- you click and the sound comes up, meaning that the officer was interrupted - he even says that in the next dialogue. He did not say "sus", he was supposed to say "suspicious" and was cut out.
As for the ambient textures, I did not quite understand what you were saying about it. Maybe you meant ambient "noise"? Because then you are correct, the game does need some ambient sounds.
Mason's character will definitely return, yes.
Oh yeah that makes a lot more sense now. I guess the way you cut out "suspicious" made me think of the meme first thing, rather than him being cut off by the intercom. Honestly I think if you want to avoid that then the best solution would be to do "suspi-" or something, instead of sus. Cause I think for most players the meme is still the first thing that comes to mind. And yes I meant ambient sounds. Looking forward to what Mason will come up with :D
