If we've paid a total of $10 for early access does that mean we get the beta on the 16th?  I paid $5 for early version, and then again to get to $10 for the rewrite.

Hello @ScotGRussian. Thank you for purchasing two different updates of the game!

Unfortunately, the short answer to your question is no. The V0.7 update will be available on Itch on Sunday, June 19th for $5.00 regardless of previous purchases. Purchasing the game on Itch is another way for fans to get the game if they would rather not use Patreon/SubscribeStar. If fans want to buy the update sooner they will need to become a Patron or Subscriber at the respective tiers.

The game is still in development and  these updates on Itch are similarly based on the Patreon/Subscribestar model to continue fund the development (each update requiring a new purchase). This is to be fair to the Patrons and Subscribers as well.

We estimate that the game's main story will probably be completed (V1.0) ~12-18 months from now. At that point we will likely put the completed game up for sale as a whole as a one-time purchase if you would rather not purchase each time there is a story/version update.

Actually my previous comment appears to be wrong. I think you have access to the update if you paid for previous versions at that dollar amount already. Please let me know if you can access it.

I've paid $5 for the release of 0.55 and again for 0.6 Rewrite, but don't appear to have access to 0.7.2.

Thanks for clearing that up and for your reply!

I see. That's our original intention based on the note above but I've conflicting things that Itch sometimes allows people to access everything for life if they have paid a certain threshold. Thank you for reporting your findings ScotGRussian.

Absolutely!  I finally see more comprehensive stats:
$10 - 137 days ago

$5 - 362 days ago

As always, thanks for developing this game, it's been a lot of fun to see during development :)
