Hey there,

It’s possible to make a game that supports both VR and a traditional monitor, that way you don’t have to risk anything. Depending on what tools you use, this can be a toggle button on your game that says:

[ ] Use VR headset

So people with VR sets can enjoy a VR experience, while the rest can enjoy a more traditional one.

Of course that means you’ll be spending extra time and resources on VR-only functionality, that users without VR will not encounter, but that’s for you to decide if you can go that route.
