When choosing who goes to R&D or Exploration I often don't know if I have enough of one part or the other. I'm only told that I made progress, but not how much.
There's a list but to know how much is LEFT to reach them... I think one of the backgrounds had that ability.
The Math background gives detailed research and exploration stats, yes.
math background gives you that. Other wise you will have to keep track of stuff yourself
