Haiti-Dominican Republic-Bahamas-UK existed. In that same game, so did Malaysia-Singapore-Indonesia, and many other unions that are too complicated for me to remember.  Also the Solomon Islands somehow won after not doing anything all game.

Greece and Bulgaria formed a union called Greece-Bulgaria, but Greece left but it had the same name then later Bulgaria left but it was still called Greece-Bulgaria.

The union of georgia-thailand-mexico-australia won the game once

The PRC is more Afghanistan than China province wise lmaooo
