All in all a rather enjoyable addition to the story.

Metatron's first step towards romance made me cry a little and chuckle a little. I loved how vulnerable she was, how lonely she is...

Sam being awkward was very cute and the lewd scene was very sexy. I loved the variety of expressions she has and the outfits. Also I noticed the scars on her arms, proof that she has earned her place as a warrior.

Honestly you'd be surprised how much art I have seen depicting warriors that seem terrified of the idea of letting the character have scars!

The additions to Ashley and Sarah were both fairly small but I appreciated them nonetheless. I never noticed before but it turns out Ashley is a great friend, so supportive!

Sarah on the other hand continues to be the best girl.

The Additions to Celica's story just built further on her personality and the connection she and Astaroth share.

The addition of the Armour was interesting too, it seems to have added a fair amount of durability to my character but its hard to be conclusive as I think I'm quite over leveled for the current content. I did take a lot of damage during a duel with Ashley (I think it was her).

But I have yet to really try the alternate weapon system, since I usually make my build around the primary weapon and I want to stay focused on that!

Ina's added story was quite interesting too. Seemed like she and her shark boy are pretty close! Maybe more than friends?

The hints of political manipulations behind the scenes were welcome!

Ashley does pure magic damage and no current armor gives res, so it's completely useless against her. I'm still deciding how I want to handle it, but I was thinking of adding some lighter armor that adds a bit of RES (maybe robes?). Against normal enemies tho, Heavy Armor makes you nearly invincible.

Hah, not gonna lie, I teared up a bit writing that Metatron scene myself. Being able to see her so vulnerable came out better than I had hoped.

Glad you enjoyed both parts of Sam's stuff, I don't get much feedback on the lewds so it's nice to know they came out ok haha. And her scars are mostly due to her being an idiot, but yeah, I figured that an aggressive brawler type should definitely have scars. I know some people think scars are a mark of shame, but it's just kinda something that happens if you fight constantly imo.

Sarah and Ash are both cute, I'm always happy to write them, and Celica getting a bit of backstory helps draw out a bit of the 'childhood friends' thing I've been telling but not showing.

I think scars are a sign of growth! Especially when it comes to a warrior. No ones perfect, especially when starting out, so in my mind scars are a sign that someone has tried, made mistakes and learned!

I'd be far more impressed and frightened by a warrior with scars than one without! A warrior with scars has trained hard, is a veteran of many battles, and has survived being wounded. The scars are proof of it.

A warrior without scars is an untrained novice with no experience, an easy kill.

I think artists often get so caught up in making the character pretty they forget that suspension of disbelief is a thing that matters.

I often struggle with fantasy art due to high heeled plate boots, boob plate and missing helmets...

I agree in general. It's similar to rough hands; whether or not they're considered 'beautiful,' they show that someone has participated in serious effort.

Fantasy art is a tough bar to walk for any RPG, much less an adult one. On one hand, you want characters to look good and recognizable, but yeah, the most effective way to not die is plate armor and a good helmet. Hitting that balance is gonna be an uphill battle, especially given how few artists seem to like drawing armor, much less realistic armor.

Sam's new combat outfit is definitely on the budget end of protection, though more appropriate for a newbie swordsman.

Yeppers! I struggle with it, but I manage! Mostly I struggle when I am looking for a concept pic for a new rpg character.

Oh trust me, I feel that pain lmao. I RP'd for a looong time, and I've always had a soft spot for properly badass female warriors. Stylized armor sure, but chainmail bikinis and the like just... don't do it for me.
