Okay, so you're still very early in the game. would you be willing to join the discord to get help? I'm not quite sure what the disconnect is, or if you ran into some weird bug or we're just not communicating right, I think it might be easier to solve your issue there.

What do you mean by the entire adventure section? Like which combat areas have you done? Which characters do you have available?

On the bottom left there should be a few buttons, like Adventure, Allies, etc. Allies lets you talk to characters and pursue their various plotlines, Adventure takes you into adventures which are the main way to progress the plot. As you get further in, new buttons will appear (some temporary, some permanent) for one-off scenes or new areas.

You unlock the camp iirc about 2 hours in out of 40ish. Trying to put this with a minimum of spoilers, the current content ends after you finish Deepwoods Heart, report back, do some camp scenes, and get blonde and blue haired party members (not Sam).

You know what's funny, I actually wrote a scene about the characters discussing magic just the other day before seeing this, not quite the same thing but funny timing! Ashley (and Maya) will go pretty far for a prank, lol.

The really funny thing is that there was a different Metatron scene not long back that also had her talking them both up (mostly). Maybe we do share a brain cell, lol. Metatron may not get along super well with Ashley, but they do respect each other.

Things are looking up at least, life calming down and the hellish summer heat finally fucking off to a degree. Has helped a lot with productivity that's for sure! Sorry to hear about your own medical issues, those are never fun, I'm just hoping I'm free of mine (for now).

Amnelis and Siofra are definitely gonna be interesting lol, and the dryad, Naestra, is someone I'd like to introduce at some point. There will definitely be more Daughters, and possibly dryads, though not planned as party members.

I don't remember for sure but some of the early checks basically just check if you have that stat. The agility buff doesn't sound right but maybe a channel?

Totally fair question. This month has been hell, unfortunately, lots of expensive medical fuckery, got sick, family visiting, just was not the productive clean sweep I was hoping for. I'm still plugging away and we're close to the next update, I just really wanted it to be done weeks ago.

Hey there! Yes, I've been working on the game for a few years now, updates come at varying speeds and sizes but I'll keep plugging away at it until it's done. It's been a bit slower in May due to a lot of life hitting me hard, but the next update is nearly done and after that hopefully it'll be back to about once a month.

Fair enough on the teenager thing. As MC has matured I've been using it less, but just to confirm, everyone in the party is 18+ and that will never change. I just wanted more of a coming-of-age and maturation theme, going from kind of a dumb/idealistic teenager to a real hero who has gone through the trials and tribulations needed to burn away their past and forge them into someone better than they were.

I'm glad you like Sarah's sprite, I just have mixed feelings about some aspects of it since I didn't quite get what I asked for lol. Stuff like her fellatio/missionary CGs make me happy since they more accurately represent her design. The overall difference isn't large, granted, but it's hard not to notice that stuff after years of working with her.

No need to apologize, I appreciate honest feedback and am happy to talk about the game. I just try to be completely honest (but not a dick) discussing this stuff. I really am glad you're enjoying the game and I'll keep at it, unless anything awful happens we're still gunning for another update in late April to follow up the last giant one!

Metatron's gradual character development has been a lot of fun to write! Both sides have a lot of trauma from the past, it's not all a fairy tale story, but being forced to accept that the other side are just people helps a lot.

It helps that all 3 are good or good-ish people!

Most of the main few start off solidly in teenager range in terms of both age and maturity, but I agree that they develop enough, especially MC, that teenager applies to him less and less as the story goes. Or do you mean that 'teenager' brings connotations of characters being younger?

The one Sarah paizuri art was the first CG I ever got for the game, before she had canon art, and will get replaced eventually. For the rest... idk. this game doesn't really make much money, certainly not enough to kidnap one artist and get perfectly consistent art from one guy forever. I'll keep trying to get more high quality CGs, but there isn't really an easy solution to making sure they're all the same style.

Sarah's non-paizuri CGs represent her better than her sprite does though, and I'll die on that hill, lol.

IIRC it takes 18 sarah affection, watch sarah's 16 affection, and watch ashley's 16 affection (the new night scene from this update)

I haven't heard any other reports of that yet, but I'll keep an eye out if anyone else has similar issues.

Siofra is a lot of fun ngl. Both .34 and .35 gave her a lot of stuff easing up a little bit, 0.35 gives her a big talk I absolutely love. She feels like one of the most 'power couple' pairings to me.

Yep yep! If I remember right you mentioned you had bought the game previously, so it should just all be there when you redownload it. Some of the scenes are a bit harder to unlock due to plot requirements, so be sure to use the changelog, it has a guide to make sure everything is clear (though it SHOULD be pretty clear ingame, just do story stuff until they do).

And thank you! Took way longer than it should but I'm just glad it's out, and absolutely determined to not do that again lmfao. I'll probably take a few days off before starting on the next update, and list a few things I am considering focusing without promising specifics.

Yes, thankfully! Kronos and Dunnask have been very helpful with proofreading, this scene is almost done and I'll be relying on them for it as I implement, add expressions, and tweak older scenes for the final wrapup in the next few days.

Yeah, sorry about the confusion. I'm working on finishing the final scene right now, so it will be in a few days, but not quite out yet. There's a lot of proofreading, bugfixing, and expression work to do before I can properly release.

I think a story should have some problems/failures along the way to spur growth, but I also get what you mean. I hope to sometime go back to the Deepwoods and show what has happened since the events, you didn't fail Belobog but it's not a completely happy ending either, any form of recovery could take a while.

Ya boy Chadstaroth has been handling it pretty well so far, though I've tried to show both the stress he's under and how hard he works to keep it under control. I think it'd be boring if he was a one-dimensional superhero who never had any concerns, but I don't want to make him into a whiny kid either. It's been an interesting challenge, ngl, I've never tried to write this particular arc before.

Ashley and Sarah feel the most likely to have impending meltdowns of various flavors, but 'child soldier' is kind of a shit background for healthy coping, so... yeah.

The next update doubles down more on the cosmic horror in some scenes, to make sure people don't forget about the temple stuff LOL.

Mara and Chernobog! Fun fact, the split between Chernobog and Belobog is *likely* a Christian missionary bastardization of slavic mythology, so it felt right to have Chernobog be an enslaved, bastardized version of the 'true' Belobog here too. I'm glad you enjoyed it! That arc took me an incredible amount of time, but it feels worth it to hear people talk about the impact it made on them. Trying to show MC's development and courage is tough, but fun. He EARNS his happy endings.

I'm not totally happy with how XP falloff works, but it used to be genuinely difficult to NOT overlevel content, so I added it, along with the cheat menu so people can still overlevel if desired. It turns out game design is hard, lol.

I'm trying to add more interactions, but there's a lot of characters and only one of me... I'm open to suggestions! But after this update, lol. Working on the last scene and I need to get the update out before I jump into fleshing other stuff out.

Alicia scene has been tough for sure, I also ended up doing two other scenes, a nightmare/vision and an Aspasia followup, which have gone well. I'm hoping sometime this week will be the actual release.

Siofra is hot af, in many ways! And actually, 0.34 and .35 both move her to having a stronger relationship with the MC, it's not romantic yet but well into 'you can flirt' territory. Actually wifeing her is a harder challenge though lol, she has a very strong personality.

Amnelis is still coming back for sure! I had been considering it for this update, but she'll likely be tied to the Summoning system being introduced, so that got pushed back to the next minor update likely (amnelis sex scene + summoning intro). She did kinda save MC's life in the Deepwoods by telling Siofra where to go, and she will doubtless be insufferable about it, lmao.

Yeah, hopefully next week, I'm making good progress and optimistic at least. If nothing else, it'll be a huge update moving a lot of plots forward.

Succubus MILF is still a little ways off, in terms of planned progression;

- The last actual party member (Alicia, Selendis's daughter, earth magic trainer) will be introduced in this update.

- Minitaur (side character, greathammer trainer) will be in the next 1-2 updates, in the plains.

- Succubus MILF (likely a camp character but not party member) will be in the mountains after the plains.

As always, we'll see exactly how things go.

Siofra's art hasn't changed since her introduction, she's always had the vines! The flower-shaped fire too, lmao, though that isn't active often. I don't remember how the memory thing goes, if you already cleared the area it kinda messes with the scene though.

I like the idea, I'll have to think about how to pass Maya around (in a wholesome way). There's a lot of people who wouldn't mind floofing her, but no catgirl to bounce her off of... unless Celica becomes one somehow, lol, she's already basically a cat personality-wise.
