as the title says what is the labyrinth in terms of celestial bodies? Is it a full on planet or is it more of a flat earth type of thing?

"kore"?

The way narration described the stars we're in a different dimension at least.  Or a different layer that doesn't have OUR stars in it.  But it seems you end up on the same road regardless of point of origin so that rules out layers.

Did the gods even know what a planet is?

heh sorry it was supposed to say more. Yeah I do know that Luke mentions we’re not on earth or the solar system entirely but even if it’s a pocket dimension I would assume it would be a planet or something. Even if the Gods controlled only a small portion of the world I would believe they knew what a planet was or even the fact that the earth was round.

With how contained the valley is either it's flat or the valley is like the plague pit from Defender's Quest or the crater from Krater.  I mean like a landmass sized hole.

yes. i mean, there is the underground which is upside down, but i imagine it 'd be like a video game map, except when you reach the border you show up on earth.maybe it's too small to have a curvature and is shaped like e thick disk.

this makes a lot more sense to me now! I imagine it functions the same way how Hogwarts hides itself. But inside of just looking invisible or ruins to muggle eyes maybe it hides underground like the myths of agartha? Probably not but it’s some good food for thought!

well, i'm glad. of course, this is not official. so if we learn new information that contradicts this, that should take priority.

yeah for sure! I just like theorizing. Gives me something to do for the time being

I would say it's likely to be a pocket dimension of sorts. If anything it has impossible spacial structures, so chances are it's nothing like we would have in reality, considering how it bends the rules we know.

my theory is, everything you see is real. The desert, the valley, all of it physically exists in our dimension.

On another planet, thousands of lightyears away. Think about it. The sky, the environment, the lifeforms, what do game developers do when they want to keep the player from seeing something? They slap it in a place they assumed you’d never reach. Like, perhaps, a distant but habitable desert world they can create monsters to live on. Now they can fine tune the planet itself to their needs. The gods simply used a game developers tactic on real people.
