not happy with your choice of hosting. first try failed to fully dl, tried again, and now they want me to pay to dl as I exceeded my free dl limit. to me seems very fishy

Use a VPN or download from google or here on itch?

itch would not let me dl it, they took me to that other source.

It's worth downloading the Mega app, though [it gets around download limits, and it's free]

Is there some trick to get Mega to work?
Like many others, I can never seem to get it download the whole game file.
It doesn't matter whether I'm using the web version of if I've downloaded the app, it never lets me download the whole thing.

sorry not downloading apps to get a game to download. you should find a more convenient way for playters / customers to download the game.
