This is incredibly good. I find it a great example on how to do a game jam within such a small fraction of time. Loved the game feel so much (Those combo pitched sounds!!!) it's just so addictive. I would touch the mage's hitbox to encourage precision dodging and that stuff as much as possible when in mage's form, but overall an extremely good game

Thank you! I'm working on a post-jam version and I'm doing exactly that! I made hitting the walls lose your soul, and you have to touch back to the player to get your points. It makes way more sense, both from a gameplay and aesthetic standpoint :D
