Oooh! Do you get a Steam key if you buy it here? They make it so easy to run games on Linux via Proton.

Hi, I don't quite understand your message; when you buy a game on itch.io you don't get a Steam key.

As for the Linux version I decided not to publish it because the engine I use, Visual Novel Maker, no longer has support for this format and it is possible that it would give several errors. If you want I can give you the Linux version for free to check if it's playable.

I didn't know that you could play it on a Linux through Proton, if you finally play it this way, could you tell me what is your experience?

Thanks for your comments, best regards.

A few purchases here do get the buyer a Steam key - it's up to the developer whether or not they think the extra cost is worth it in terms of additional sales.

Degica's VNM? I haven't seen anything about dropping Linux support, but then I haven't seen any updates from them in a while.

That would be great - let's see if it does work.

I didn't know that some games here also offer a Steam key. I don't promise to do so, but I will look into this procedure.

Yes, Degica's VNM in one of its latest versions (I think since July 2021) is not compatible with Linux, no big announcement has been made about it; but you can check Steam for comments. Also, it's been a long time since VNM games on Linux had problems.

Finally, I have uploaded a full Linux version in Beta mode for free download. I hope it will at least be runnable.

I look forward to reading your comments on your experience with this system.
