Anybody know how to get the CG where Shuu adopts a cat?

Have read some comments that I need to spend time with Shuu on a weekday at the restaurant then again at the bookstore also on a weekday to trigger the event. Problem is, Shuu only spends time at the restaurant on a saturday which is a weekend??? Getting kind of fustrated hunting for this CG. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Weekend is only Sunday. You can go outside on Saturday.

Tried it (it meaning Saturday at Restaurant with Shuu and the following week Fri at Bookstore with Shuu) I just got the reptitive scene where Shuu buys too many books. I have no pet too. Am I doing something wrong here?

Did you get a scene with Shuu's uncle at the restaurant? The adopting pet scene is after that.

Also (and unless it has been changed), I remember it was said that you cannot have a pet at home... If you do, then that sequence won't trigger in that play?

You can only get it if you are currently dating him and don't have a pet yourself.  Just keep spending time with him at the restaurant on weekdays and it should happen.
