Played this on my Channel's Series called 3 SCARY GAMES! It's the 2nd game I played in the video starting at 7:20!
I just want to start by saying... HOLY SH*T this game got me good... I knew before even starting this game, this felt well made and that thought held through. The Atmosphere, Visuals & Sound Design were all really made! I will say even with how good these scares got me, I did find myself having confusion by some of my characters actions.
(spoilers) Like where the 1st Jumpscare happened, why my character after had nothing to say about it? When previously they had something to say about everything. And why when were getting chased, we still move the exact same speed as before? I feel small things like that can add a bit more into the immersion side of things.
Other then that, overall I really enjoyed this game and can't wait to see what you make next!
Great little horror game! Nice visuals, and some good scares. There are a couple of instances where you can get a bit stuck on the stairs (due to the geometry or something) but other than that, I enjoyed it. And as always, here's yet another video for your comments section, dev:
This was really good! The environment and ambient sound made the whole experience really creepy. The monster chasing you through the tunnels was very stressful too. I played couple of your other games before but this one is your best work so far imo! Keep up the great work!
this is a solid creepy game that needs a sequel or prequel or some sort. The atmosphere was quite creepy and the gameplay is solid. Describing a PTSD and the shadows of WW2 is quite smart and cool.
Definitely one of the creepiest ABOMINATIONS I've ever seen in a game😱! Great game I can't believe it was done in ONE WEEK it shows awesome talent from the dev! It was right beneath our feet the entire time haha truly spooked the crap outta me! Haven't had a good scare like that in a while. I love the time placement for the game. I wish there were more little details and items in the environment to really accentuate the WW2 theme. But still an awesome experience with worth the fright!
Loved the slow building tension and the jump scare was great. Loved the anti-war message as well -- you had some well thought out statements and quotes.
