The part when the drums enter (both times) makes me really excited to start exploring. I think that this track really captures the essence of the picture theme with the shifts in energy throughout from more subdued to more high energy. Thank you for sharing!

Description
The protagonist travels to an old valley, where ancient ruins of an old civilization long gone are located at. After arriving at the ruins they explore them and find a passageway into an old temple that leads underground. Once they find what they were searching for, it is already too late and the entrance to the temple closes.
The two worlds in this track are represented by different melodic parts. One is supposed to be adventurous the other one mysterious and dangerous. Over the course of the piece, the music evolves in its intensity and ends with the protagonist finding a mysterious object shortly before being trapped in the dark.
I composed this soundtrack with Ableton Live 9. It's unfortunately only one track but if I would embed it in a game I would split the parts up to better fit the environment.
Theme:
How does it fit the theme?
The theme was "Two Worlds". In order to fit that theme, I tried to create a track that captures both the joy of adventuring and the mystery or danger of the unknown.
I also thought about the picture being part of the journey to the ruins. The red flash representing the underlying danger that this path has.
