Really cool ambient piece. Starting with bird sound effects as a base and layering upon that is a very interesting approach that really conveys a wilderness setting. The vocals also added a lot of otherworldly intrigue to the track.

Thank you much!  Hiking in nature away from the things of man is one of my inspirations.  It's just the first thing that comes to mind when I get a song in my head so that first nature layer opens the flood gate for me.

The ambience and atmosphere was really cool. I dug the bird sounds and vocals as well. All in all, thank you for your work!

I appreciate the appreciation!  ;0

Great stuff! I know I already tweeted you but love the ambience and ethereal nature of this, definitely resonates with me.

Thanks Nick! I love your submission as well!

I could definitely see this as passive exploration music in an open-world game. Nice job!

Developer

Thank you so much!  Passive Exploration in an Open-World Game is exactly my kind of game!  I can't tell you how many games like that I've spent hours in with the sound effects turned all the way down, voices barely audible, and the background music cranked up to 11 in my headphones.  That's definitely my kind of immersive flavor!  I appreciate the comment!

Brilliant atmosphere, and its very impressive how you used Lydian so well! One of my tracks was in F# Lydian as well with a slightly similar vibe, but i didnt pull it off nearly as well as you did haha

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks!  Yeah I love the Lydian and Dorian Modes.  Thank you so much for pointing this out because I'm actively practicing these two modes.  Cheers and thank you for the call out!

I really like the wind and birds throughout the track, it feels very atmospheric

Thank you!  I found my love for music while hiking in the wilderness so most of my tracks have nature ambience as the first layer.  You found my heart with your comment!  I appreciate it.

I love the vocals and the dynamic, but only one thing: That weird sound, I can only understand "Baquew" or something, is a bit annoying. Good Job! :)

Developer

lol I was wondering if I was going to take a hit for that.  It's actually the sound of a bird that is known for it's unique sound... but yeah, I could go back and lower the dynamics on it.  Great call out! Thanks for the vocals and dynamic props

Thank you so much!  Atmospheric sounds are what I love.
