We are very glad that you really liked our game, its music, and aesthetics!
Fun fact, one of our previous game jam did not include an options menu in the pause screen to allow the player to lower the volume of the music and we heard from this detail a lot so now we really take the time to build a simple menu to let the player adjust the volume on the fly, glad you noticed it!
The part where you don't see the platforms underneath you is intended, yes, it's supposed to make you go back to see the reflection and memorize the position of the platforms.
We are actually currently working on fixing some details we heard a lot about, and add some more stuff, I can keep you updated if you wanna see more when it's released! :)
