Well I would like to play multiple games, but lets just say Temptations Ballad. I just want to know what file type I should download if the file types work with Ipad.

“mac or window download file types” run on exactly those systems: Mac OS and Windows. iOS is neither of these things.
Browser games should run on it, though it would depend on the age of the iPad. You can check if your iPad supports WebGL using this website: https://get.webgl.org/. If it supports WebGL, most browser games won’t have any trouble running. You might run into problems if the game requires a keyboard, though.
