I finished playing this earlier today and still processing some emotions – but this was such a fascinating game! I thought the writing was lovely and the structure of the timejumps was really intriguing, drawing you in more and more as you went along.
There were a lot more lighthearted moments than I was expecting from what was quite a bittersweet story, which I thought made a very nice balance with the quieter introspective moments.
I liked the characters, the friends were a lot of fun! Sabie and Nasir were my favourites… though Sabie probably had my favourite lines!
I also liked the additon of the point and click, and the phone GUI, and really liked the effects/art used nearer the end to convey the emotional state of the MC, that was very effective!
Last but not least: lovely music, art and very charming sprites - and an EXCELLENT christmas jumper! Thank you to you and your team for sharing, looking forward to what you do next.
