I own a vive too and had the same problem but i was able to do a bit of a workaround-

  1. open up defaultsettings.ini in BricksperienceVR\Config
  2. at the bottom in the action mappings section look for MenuInteractionRight/Left, replace the last bit, "FaceButton1" with "Thumbstick" on both of them
  3. then in the action mappings go to LeftGrip and change that to FaceButton1 (or leave it blank, not sure if that works though)
  4. finally go to the ResetTracking mappings, change Left_Thumbstick to Left_Grip1 and Right_Thumbstick to Right_FaceButton1 (or leave the right one blank too)

This lets you click the pads to hold the Legos and your left grip will reset the tracking.

Thanks man, i was having trouble finding this file in order to change the config, but it was in front of my face the whole time. Thanks lots!
