1. Hmmmm I would argue to say that Camille does give a shit about Ivy. However, due to the absolutely dismal parent figures in her life, she was never properly taught how to care and love others in a meaningful way. So while she does care, she has absolutely no healthy way to show that she cares besides intense possessiveness ( See Camille's expression when looking at ivy's photo with her bf)
2. Camille's father Leo is a man who was so beautiful that you can forgive him for doing anything. It's not that he doesn't love his daughter or his partner Mr.Rich (love your nickname for Mr. Buchanan), but he's grown up being easily forgiven for every transgression he ever did. When you are easily forgiven for everything, you will trample everything under your feet bc there are no real consequences. This is why he can easily cheat on Mr.Rich and bring home a love child without really asking for Mr. Rich's permission: Leo knows that Mr. Rich will cave every time lmao. (Ironically, if Mr.Rich took a harder stance, things would be much different haha. But Mr. Rich was whipped and never does)
Again like Camille, it's not that Leo Dubois is a cold-hearted sociopath with no empathy, but he literally was not taught the ability to properly care for others. Leo grew up learning that as long as he is charming, he can have anything. He literally did not need to learn how to be a decent person lmao.
