I read all of it and kept asking myself…why do people want this again? Like it’s well written and all that, but I couldn’t imagine something like that in the real story…with any character…not even Dean.
There's a couple schools of thought with this:
1. Sex, much like death, when handled correctly in fiction mark a change in relationship dynamic. Granted this is when you write a sex scene, not a porn scene where the underlying goal for each is radically different. In this case, what I presented was very much trying to blend the two as I tried to cater to those that just wanted porn while also catering to myself who wanted to watch the shift between Dave and Tyson. Because it marks the change of Tyson and Dave's relationship from brothers to something more romantic, it should be in-game rather than censored.
2. Furries be horny. They want the sex scenes because other furry visual novels have them. They're not wrong for wanting it or even expecting it as there are more VNs with them than without. Or at the very least promising them. So with that there's a level of feeling cheated out of what would be a "reward" come the end of a character arc with it not being in-game.
Though I consider the reward having them alive instead of well... y'know.
That makes sense…I don’t really mind having sex scenes in VNs, but I’d rather have it matter than just on a whim I suppose…but that’s just me personally :)

In this case it does matter because of what you said…like with Dean, that actually made an impact in their relationship. But as much as I love Sal to death, it’d be kinda mortifying to imagine him having sex with Dave. I’m not gonna specifically name them, but in some of the furry VNs I’ve been playing and have newly found out about, the past updates have just been sex…I guess I’m a little burned out of it lmao…it’s kind of annoying to be excited for a story update and then sex happens throughout most of it, or the update is just one sex scene and done…nothing against the creators, but I feel like they’re in this gray area between giving fanservice, story, or both :(
