i don't really understand what you are supposed to do? clone yourself to get inside the holes. but it restart when you clone yourself to many times?
The clones follow the path you just made. So walk to a button first then clone, and your actions will be repeated by the clone at restart. While the clones busy perform the next action for the next clone as needed before it restarts again...
