Is it strange to say that I've had fun playing this when in many cases, the biggest parts of the game were to be had by imagining the survival of these folks in my head (I got 10/12, not bad I think!). It's sad to say, but when supplies dwindle, and the smoker with only one negative trait comes along, I think I sent him along with a knife, and let him take his chances on his coin flip odds. I had others who were more easily helped! (He survived, two of the best equipped died, but they say God laughs at man's plans). Day one, at the end of the game, is prominently displayed at the top of the screen. I can only assume this means you intended to make this game a longer affair at some point during development. I would have loved to see this game extrapolated as it has a very interesting concept from the outset!
