What are you talking about? That's exactly my point...we don't need another dating sim. which is why we don't need to recruit everyone into a 'campfire-relationship'.
Nobody is forcing to recruit every character, and even if you do (for whatever reason) you will die of starvation in a few days, you just need to pick 1 or 2 companions.
