i recently purchased a Ryzen 5 1600 and whenever i launch the game i makes the sound at launch but the screens remains black. this was not an issue with my Ryzen 3 1200. core count maybe?
It not connected with cores count. Looks like you have some kind of bug with GPU driver.
What OS you using to play the game?
If win: try to start game from cmd with one of .exe files supplied
if linux: use console to start.
there will be some start log in console. you can check it for possible error message.
