Might be an interesting idea - trying to time the "lifts" to get to platforms without waiting too long. But I don't know if anything interesting is done with the mechanic, since I can't play it properly on my laptop because the touchpad has keyboard activated delay. So after jumping, I can't click for about a second or so, which means I can't grab most hooks.
So, I find I once again must ask a question that I feel I should just start saving in a notepad given how often I ask it on this site... Why a mouse button? The mouse isn't used for any kind of aiming, accuracy, or precision. I confirmed that "click the mouse near a hook" means when the player is near the hook, not the mouse. Seems to me that arrows to move, and a couple of other keys adjacent to each other (z/x, a/s, x/c. etc) would make the game playable on more systems. (or wasd and k/l, or similar)
