This was a fun little game. I enjoyed the look and feel of the tiles.

I was able to reliably get the game to crash when clicking and dragging on one of the "blank" spaces, and I never quite worked out what the black striped borders were meant to indicate.

Hope you had a positive experience using Godot, and thanks for doing a Linux build!

Hey, thanks for playing! I noticed that crash but ran out of time to figure out what was causing it - I’m glad you found it! I’m planning on using this as a basis for a full match-three game in the future, so that will be important to fix.

The black striped borders were supposed to represent “cursed” tiles, although I wanted to have a bit of a glowing animation rather than a simple overlay. Those tiles can’t be swapped with / moved until the curse is cleared from that tile.

I enjoyed using Godot, and my desktop (which is what I use each day as well as what I developed this on) runs Linux, so it was harder to find a Windows machine for testing that build :D

Ah, I see! I haven't played a game like this that has cursed or "locked" tiles, but I think that's a neat idea.

Always nice to touch base with another Linux based developer :D
