If you're stuck in the first room, you can hit both of the glowing red eyes to turn them green and unlock a door that will slide open. To hit the eye that is higher up, hold down right click and then hit left click to do a sort of charged punch that launches you in the direction you are facing. I made this area as an attempt to just not launch someone into a boss fight.
