The piano feels a bit harsh of tone, but perhaps if the chords were more arpeggiated, across a wider range, the melodies would sound more lyrical and rolling. I would highly recommend an EQ with a filter; I'm hearing some elements of that towards the end. More instruments would help to flesh out what sounds like an improvisational piece by creating diversity. The stepwise motion is a good idea to be expanded upon.
