I have some brutally honest feedback this is meant to help not undermine you, i don't like the V.N. at all and here is why ! is love the use of high end CGI art work but then to add a mix of much lower end graphics with thick black lines even in the intro was the first point of o no please NO !!! and i think its because i work with graphics so must for books and merchandise and i know bring 2D and high end 3D is a art form that i very hard and i would say pick one or the other, i am sorry if this came across as hateful or negative but when i have got through close to 400 V.N.'s read in a year, things like trigger me so bad i just have to say something that will hopefully help long term.

I DON'T normally this but if you and to i am willing and give of my own time and talents to help to make this into a A++ V.N. just ask your not sure will it work or not,  dose it look eye pleasing.

Thanks for the feedback! Your complains seem to be all about the art style.

The art style started as a consequence of having a shitty pc to render, not knowing how to draw and not having money to commission drawing to a proper artist. How to solve that problem? I used those shaders on a 3d software and now I can actually make renders on my potato laptop and make a cool game! I wouldn’t be able to make a game if I stick with the beautiful 3d cgi you like and are used to.

My choice was never between the tradition art styles and my art style. It was always between my art style and no game at all. It was a compromise. That being said, the style really grew on me and I really like it right now. However, I obviously understand if that's not to everyone's liking.

I’ve had feedback elsewhere from other players saying that they really liked the game and the artstyle. But others, like you, also said they didn't like the art style at all! I guess it is a matter of preferences, but I completely understand that this won’t be everybody’s cup of tea.

That’s why there are all these screeshots in the page: everyone can judge at a glance if they will enjoy the art style or if it’s better to move on to the next game.

I understand that some people love it and others not and i totally get it rendering on on a 1050 is nothing like on a 3080all i am saying wouldn't it be better to have a larger amount of people love it in 1 style than others and not so many say its OK but here is a idea why not make a pole survey as to what the readers think it better because at the end of the day they are the ones that support the development of your V.N.

and thank you for for taking it the way it was meant and also taking your time to respond back,

all that i can say is i wish you the best and do what you think is right.

If I made that poll, I probably would vote myself in a style envolving beautifully drawn 2d characters. Let's say that option would won. Then what? I can't afford an artist. So, should I ask people to support my future game in advance, without me having ever made any game before and expect that anyone would want to fund the project?

I don't think that's how things work. I have to prove myself first for anyone wanting to support the development of any of my games. That's why I'm destributing this game for free and let people judge if it is worthy of any support.

I'm doing the game I can with the resources I have. If it goes well and I can upgrade my equipment or hire an artist, then my next game might be even better! But, right now, with my current hardware, rendering 3d photorealistic pics would take 10x more time. That is simply not an option if I want to make updates every 2-3 months.

And besides all that, I really like the art style myself. It might have started as a compromise, but it sure grew on me. I'm already finding more people that also enjoy it, even though some others don't. Not all games need to have the same visuals.

Maybe in a not so distant future you might be able to play another of my games made in a style you enjoy. I hope so. Until there, I appreciate the feedback. If I ever have the chance to, I'll definitely explore other art styles, like you suggested, in future projects. Cheers.

if i am honest it looks like you have the skills to it work without hiring someone you can see it in the art work, and to answer the 1st question do it in a pole and if people like it like that then keep it the way it is if not change it just enough so people can see a change and keep them coming back for more, i tell you what would work and I've seen it with your art style is maybe keep people in a 3d high end and the background as a lower end or the other way around, and how knows I'm not writing it off just because i don't like it your already bookmarked so i can track the changes if they happen if not just keep doing what ever makes you happy and lest you express your self in your art, but the main thing i would say is be open to change
