It's coming out. Personally know the dev and he's not only working to overcome a lot of hurdles both in development and in life but also on the polishing of the game itself.

Good to know, but a lack of communication will sooner or later lead to lost interest for many people. Communicating on only one platform (Patreon, I guess?) excludes everyone on any other platform, and sooner or later they will give up on waiting and just leave in disappointment.
