In any case, itch.io offers Google Analytics support so you can track even more data than the basic one itch.io provides which honestly is a bit lackluster and sometimes isn't even accurate.

What you’re talking about is Itch’s job, not yours. Itch certainly has the unique players list, so all you would be able to do is exactly “HAHA RATE MY GAME PLZ”.

There are. I don’t use them, because they’re performing unethical practices. If I wish to watch a YouTube video, I use Invidious, because that way Google doesn’t see me. I don’t touch Facebook nor Google with a lightyear-long pole.
I would go one step further, and say that all analytics is unethical. If you make art you enjoy, you don’t care how many people see it.
