After 10 minutes, I became the master of all MiniCraft players, wielding the gun of block destroying, level 300, with the leg strength of 20000000000! I grinded for a bit, and could mine any chunk in under a second, so I called it a day. Amazing game, I had fun jumping up my 2000 pixel channel with my great jumping power.

Haha! Thanks! It runs pretty smoothly for something that can easily be slow for GM. Unfortunately, GM is just too slow for something any more complex than this.

Thanks!

That's cool! 2D marching cubes! I love that and the map appears to be infinite (even up?!?)

Great work. My only complaint is that after a while, the jump boosts and  movement speed become too much

Hey, thanks! Yeah, infinite in all directions. I made it impossible to mine the terrain at the very bottom, however. It can keep spawning chunks if I let it though.

That's really cool! What is behind this terrain mechanics? Have you coded that yourself or used libs?

Developer

Hey thanks! Yep, coded it myself.

It uses marching squares to generate the triangles and a chunking system to allow for infinite terrain and efficient terrain modification.

It definitely took up most of the time and I didn’t get much time to work on gameplay and graphics unfortunately.

Cool game concept!

Thank you!
