This is the sort of thing you would find on a shareware CD circa 1993, but you only play it that one time late at night, and when you go to show a friend the next day it's not on the CD anymore, and eventually you convince yourself it was a weird fever dream, except eighteen years later you see a screenshot on Reddit.
Which is to say, well done! I think this game achieves exactly what it set out to achieve.
