The concept is simlpy brilliant, feels very fresh and smart, i think it would work a lot better as a full on puzzle game than an action platformer, just give all the shots the player needs at the start and make them figure out the pattern, regaining a shot is very cheeseable as someone already mentioned, but i would like to add you simply don't have enough time to play the way it seems you intended, also if there was a way to make the beats sound better toghether the vibe of the game would be even more incredible. Overall i think this is an incredible idea, very well done, congrats!

Loved the game, and the concept too felt quite original. The platforming is a little tricky and the time frame to shoot the board while on a platform is too quite short, I end up shooting the board while falling down.

But overall a great game

I like the concept but there are some things that make the game a bit tedious to play.

I found it hard to follow the beat without looking at the board, especially at the beginning of the levels when there is only 1 tile in the grid, maybe put the grid in the direction of the objective could improve the readability of the game. Or maybe have a more distinct beat when the bar moves on the grid so I could count beats?

I found myself cheesing most of the levels because it is possible to activate the first tile then jump on it and get a new shot, repeat until the board is filled.

Otherwise, the game looks nice, I like the neon style aesthetic you went for which complement the bouncy music, good choices.

Also, the "tutorial" screen is pure genius, short but really showing by example, "Shoot the board, try to start with the yellow one" was all I needed to know to get started, well done!

thanks for nice comments, i will improve the game in future

Just to let you know, I love this idea and there is a ton of potential here!  The best way to unlock it is if you give out all the shots you need at the beginning of a level, then the player would have to solve a puzzle using the rhythm blocks and the platforms (like which ones light up at which time to get across).  With the current system you have put up here it's way too easy to cheese your way through the levels.  And this is a minor side note, I think that having the beats match up to the music would definitely add some kind of WOW factor to the presentation of the game!!  Outside of a control adjustment (which made it too hard to get past a certain level), I'd say it was a fine game.

Cool idea but the sluggish movement made it not very fun to play. I like the graphics and music too.

Developer

Thanks a lot, i will definitely work on movement
