I love this and would love a whole game like this. The roommates are charming and the whole premise of the game feels uplifting and unique. Also a music transition when you got to the top! All around awesome :D

I'd love to know - when you get the the end after the victory screen and your character can still move left and right, do they go anywhere? I kept running for  a while just to see how long they'd go and it really seemed like they were running off, I dug it, especially the light movement of the gradient (I know this is random, but it was fun for me lol).

I'm so glad you liked this! We hadn't made music before and I hadn't made digital art in over a decade so it was a lot of challenge! But we wanted something positive and happy and wholesome especially after the stress of the last year and a half for everyone.

At the end basically it's our very hastily made victory screen. It was mostly a placeholder but also left room for a transition to a larger game, though this wasn't communicated because we didn't have time to make more of the game. But basically it was going to be that you get transported to the fairy realm where all the stolen items had been being kept but basically we just wanted an ending victory screen and that's all we had time for!

Oh, totally get that on the time thing haha. And I love that that was your goal with the cheerful premise, it certainly was a delight to play and appreciated ^_^
