I managed to get 6000 once, but never close to that again. This game is quite addicting! I had a hard time stopping, but alas, I must sleep now.

Here are a few things I think are issues I've found:

  • The red enemies seem to come in too fast if they are traveling vertically and you are as well. I sometimes felt there was nothing I could do when this happened. Maybe they should mostly move side to side? Or be slower?
  • The green triangles should give a warning before shooting. They seem to shoot on a predictable time which helps, but not when it first enters your screen. Without a visual clue I didn't know if it was safe to attack yet or not.
  • The controls messed with me (I kept getting them backwards for a bit), but maybe that's just me :)

Hello LinuxKid21. Congratulations for this highscore, you're the first to have gotten so far! Thank you so very much for playing the game, and your critiques are so valuable! Concerning the red enemies, I've programmed them to go into a 45 degree angle +- 10 degrees and just simply bounce on the walls. But I suppose with unity's physics engine and all the bouncing on the walls, their trajectory might become more vertical. Still you made an excellent point, that I completely overlooked, the screen is more wide than high, so they are much more difficult to avoid when coming from above. This is something to fix! With the green guys, they were supposed to stop in place for 3 seconds before shooting, but I believe something broke at this stage with my latest submission. But I agree with you, a more visual cue would be the best! I have plans to develop this game further and even make levels, in addition to this infinite level :-). Thank you once again!
