Conceptually, I love the idea of synergizing and trying to make very different people work together. Giving them unique tasks to try to balance them and make them cooperate was a clever use of the themes of the jam. The mechanics were solid, and I'd say that the graphics server their purpose, giving it its own kind of charm.
However, I don't know if I'm just dense or something, but even after knowing that red was grumpier and blue was more light-hearted, I still couldn't tell from time to time which task would be best for whom. After several attempts, I never reached peak synergy, and felt somewhat frustrated as a result. If anything, because I wanted to see what else was there in the game, yet I couldn't make it that far.

It's a good game, but it really could have done with some more tells and quality of life changes. If you do update it post-jam, consider rebalancing things a bit. Otherwise, great submission! 👍

Hey MoskiDraws!

Thanks for playing my game! I agree with what you said in regards to it being confusing / frustrating in the submitted state.

I accidently introduced an issue which made the game way too hard prior to release / submission which made the synergy bar fall far too fast. Initially it was evaluating much to slowly and was not running checks to see if the synergy threshold had been met, so I made some quick changes that clearly made it just as difficult / impossible.

I agree it needs some serious balancing. The tasks either need to be clearer in their descriptions OR have more tells as to where they belong. Perhaps visual tells might be a better option here if there were more action types being generated.

Once you reach a threshold for the day, you are supposed to be prompted with a button that triggers the second part of the game in which you attempt to submit a project proposal:

In this section, you are supposed to select tasks that break even between the two players (Four "red ideas" and four "blue ideas"). After you complete the proposal, the tasks are evaluated and it will determine if you pass or fail the proposal. If you pass, the next day should then start. Sadly, like I mentioned above, it accidently became way too hard in the eleventh hour.

I still appreciate all your input, thank you for playing :)

Hey, not a problem. These things happen. If you do update it afterwards, I'm more than willing to check it out again! 👍
