I am sorry, but I have a huge Aracnophobia and I can't bring myself to play this game :(
The reason I'm posting this comment is for you to keep in mind that some people have it, and I think that phobias are something to keep in mind when developing a game.
For a game jam it's fine tho, I just won't be able to look at the spider lol
Also, the fact that it triggers like it does means you did a good job on the spider !
