So you spent the entire jam making a super dope particle effect? Alright, I can appreciate that. There is a zen to this experience. The music and graphics are very nice. I might recommend a static background for the game page. The stuttering gif (when it loops) was a little disorienting.

I actually spent the majority of the jam time just being indecisive 😅 Only started playing with particle effects in the last 2-3 days to achieve something beautiful, and here we are. Really glad you liked it.
Also, I checked it out. You're right, the looping gif really does kinda ruin the vibe when not playing the game in fullscreen. Replaced it with a static image. Thanks for the valuable feedback.
