I suck at platformers so unfortunately I didn't get very far.
I'm not sure if this is deliberate or not, but this game runs fast almost to the point of unplayability. The player moves super fast and is hard to control, and everything moves so fast it's hard to keep track of.
I wish this game had audio, but the graphics are simple but solid and the gameplay could be really good with some tweaking. Unfortunately it just doesn't really hit the mark for a "so bad it's good" game. It feels like a good game at its core that doesn't quite make it, but could with some work.
For a first jam game, it's not bad, though. That you completed a game in time to submit is and of itself an accomplishment. It does miss the mark, but not by as much as my godawful entry to the first SBIG Jam.
